I want my house this colour :)
"You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection."
Never a truer word.
"The planet does not need more ‘successful’ people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every shape and form. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these needs have little to do with success as our culture has defined it."

This is so true particularly when you work in a stressful job. Take that break, get back to your real life for a while.
"People hear you on the level you speak to them from. Speak from your heart, and they will hear with theirs."

"Technology is great, but nothing replaces real life and real living!"
Absolutely! Feel the sun, the wind, the rain, get out if your mind for a while and feel the world!
"No matter what is happening you have the ability to control your reaction to it. Choose gratitude and compassion. It’s happiness!"

Sure wish I’d read this earlier today.
"Everything can be used as an invitation to meditation. A smile, a face in the subway, the sight of a small flower growing in the crack of cement pavement, a fall of rich cloth in a shop window, the way the sun lights up flower pots on a windowsill. Be alert for any sign of beauty or grace. Offer up every joy, be awake at all moments, to “the news that is always arriving out of silence.” Slowly, you will become a master of your own bliss, a chemist of your own joy, with all sorts of remedies always at hand to elevate, cheer, illuminate, and inspire your every breath and movement."

Don’t take anything for granted, unless it makes sense for you. Don’t believe any words, however old and noble they may sound, unless they feels right to your heart. Learn by experience. Try. Make mistakes. Never stop to growing and expanding. Take a new path, to change it later on. There are no right or wrong. Be your own guru.
Your circumstances are the way they are. There is no point in getting angry, sad or depressed about them. Accept that it is what it is. Once you stop resisting or wishing something would be different you let yourself have the space necessary to make the changes necessary to take a new direction.
"People universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you are fortunate enough. But that’s not how happiness works. Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it…"

Lilie Zen Coach: The paradox of expectations
Low expectations are often a self-fulfilling prophecy. We insulate ourselves from failure, don’t try as hard, brace for the worst and often get it.
High expectations, on the other hand, will inevitably lead to disappointment. Keep raising what…
I absolutely live by the no expectation approach to life, give it your all and then see what happens. More often than not, I am pleasantly, happily and gratefully surprised at what comes my way.
